Frequently asked questions
What hospitals and clinics usually ask before they start working with Telmed teleradiology.
Are all radiologists working for Telmed based in Europe?
Yes, all of our radiologists are based in Europe. All Telmed radiologists have strong knowledge of reporting procedures and extensive experience working within European standards.
Will there be connectivity costs or ongoing administration and maintenance costs?
There are no connectivity costs for Telmed's basic connectivity. Any equipment that may need to be on-site will be installed and supported by Telmed. All we require is minimal involvement from your IT department in establishing the connection.
What is the time required for set-up?
With your support, integration is fast, with multiple modes adjusted to the clinic's technological infrastructure. After a relatively simple installation guided by our technician, you will be up and running. No lengthy configuration (VPN or similar) is required — all communication is done via HTTPS.
How do we connect?
Simply email us at contact [at] telmed.rs or call +381 11 2612 846 and we will get back to you. The technical options — secondary PACS, watched folder or manual upload — are described on the partner page.
Will the remote reporting radiologists have access to all the clinically relevant information?
Telmed radiologists have access to all clinically relevant information. All reports are completed making appropriate use of patient referrals and relevant diagnostic images.
Are there procedures in place to monitor the contract?
Our software allows constant monitoring of SLA targets, and key account managers regularly monitor that process. Our team is available for any questions you might have.
Do you provide sub-specialist reporting?
Yes, Telmed provides a broad range of sub-specialist reporting. If required, our radiologists are available for multidisciplinary team meetings.
What are the turnaround times?
Turnaround is agreed with each client depending on the required modality, volumes and urgency. Urgent reporting is available day (08–20 h CET) and night (20–08 h CET), 7 days a week.
